Not one to usually complain but after coming to Lagoons multiple times always amazed to come recently and be disappointed, particularly by the food and rooms I had to mention it. We have always raved about the plantation restaurant however this time we weren’t impressed by the taste of the food especially when it’s not cheap either. The vibe as well just wasn’t the same, not very welcoming. The rooms were also outdated. We had a garden view and it was sad to see the plants very dull and not thriving at all :(( I hope in the future these things can be improved as it’s usually a great spot.

This resort is perfect for families. Despite it looking very tired the rooms were clean. The pool had lots of staining so looked a little off but due to the size I don’t know how they would be able to ever clean it properly.
Staff were very friendly. One of our bathrooms had a strange smell and there was nowhere to put suitcases out of the way.
Although out of town it is still close to both Agnes and 1770 so we were happy with the location

We were in a swim out one bedroom apartment. It was great to just walk out of our room and into the pool. There was a nice jacuzzi in the pool area. In the afternoon there was some easy going music in the pool area. The apartment was very clean and bright and had everything we needed. Car parking was included. The Plantation Restaurant and Bar had wonderful food and good service. Just a short walk to the beach. The perfect place to stay.
Resort is decent enough but not having enough staff to have the restaurant open on the Australia Day long weekend is a joke. No communication about it. We went down for dinner at 6pm and were told it was closed. We had all been drinking so …
Stayed in a swim up studio appt. Well laid out, all you need for a comfortable stay. Big shout out to the staff, everyone was helpful and wore a big smile. The on-site beauty spa was delightful.
Only two slight irritations, the restaurant meal was not a high standard, the fruit on my seafood platter was past its best days. Breakfast however was lovely. And while the soundproofing between rooms was excellent, every word said in the hallways echoed, I woke up to the morning cleaners every day. Very small details. 100% hope to stay again
